“It is with a heavy heart, the Kiwanis Club of Keyport mourns the passing of our beloved Secretary, Judy Poling. ” We have always known Judy to be a role model to look up to, a community and club leader, and an inspiration to all who have known her. She contributed countless hours organizing and participating in many service projects to better the lives of others. Our club is privileged to have known her over the years and her “place at the table” can never be filled.
Judy was an integral part of this club, keeping us together not only as an accomplishe d, unabashed secretary, or keeping us in line “wait a minute”, but also personally. Judy was always there lending an ear to listen, and setting an example of a person to look up to. She broke down barriers, becoming the first female president of the Keyport club. Judy’s efforts and leadership within our Kiwanis are a main of reason we are proud to be a distinguished club. Judy was the heart of Keyport Kiwanis, and we can only hope to continue her hard work and support of the community in an effort to make her proud. We all raise a glass of white Zinfandel to you, Judy. You will truly be missed.
